FRIENDS OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY (IP) PAKISTAN
Intellectual Property Organization of Pakistan (IPO-Pakistan) is a Government organization promoting awareness about Intellectual Property (IP) issues in Pakistan. IP includes following subjects:
Trademarks
Geographical Indications (GI)
Plant Breeders’ Rights (PBR)
Copyrights/Related Rights
Industrial Designs
Genetic Resources, Traditional Knowledge, Folklore (GRTKF)
Patents
Integrated Circuits
IPO-Pakistan is establishing a forum called “Friends of IP Pakistan”. The forum will provide an opportunity for exchange of ideas, sharing of experiences, availing of scholarships abroad and recognizing the excellence in the fields of IP. This would be a vibrant platform working for awareness and motivation of protection of IP Rights (IPRs).
Who should register?
Please register with the forum if you have:
qualification in IP field
working experience in IP setup
categorized yourself as “visionary inventor/innovator”
created or developed anything new or unique
written an original work
produced an original cinematographic/theatrical work etc.
made original design in fashion industry, trademark industry etc.
done any work in above mentioned IP fields in any form
matching passion to work voluntarily for the promotion of IP in Pakistan in any but expressed field of IP.
How to register?
If you are one of the above, get yourself registered with "Friends of IP Pakistan" by:
1. sending an email to IPO-Pakistan at info@ipo.gov.pk with following information:
