  IPO, NUST agree to boost cooperation for promotion of Innovation and Invention culture

ISLAMABAD, Jan 11, 2019: Dr. Nassar Ikram, Pro Rector, National University of Science and Technology (NUST) called on Mr. Mujeeb Ahmed Khan, Chairman, Intellectual Property Organization (IPO-Pakistan) on Friday and discussed future cooperation in the field of Research and Development (R&D) in the country.

The two sides also discussed training workshop on Patent Database Searches and Development of Technology and Innovation Support Centers (TISCs) in Pakistan being held in February this year.

A new initiative of World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) project “Increasing the role of women in innovation and entrepreneurship” also came under discussion during the meeting.

The Chairman IPO agreed that Innovation Summer Camp would be jointly organized by IPO, NUST and Higher Education Commission (HEC).
